Lora Shopova is a Bulgarian visual artist who is always striving for the new.

In addition to her great love for humankind, nature and traditions Lora has an unabated interest in technology.

She graduated in Digital Arts Master's Degree Program at the National Academy of Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria and succeeded a Bachelor of Photography at New Bulgarian University, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Shopova's projects were part of Ars Electronica, Høspiz /// Experimental Electronic Explorations, Radar - Festival Beyond Music,    180° Festival and Laboratory for innovative Art, DA Fest International Festival for Digital Arts in Sofia, International Jazz Festival in Pleven, Festival of the Sea in Pomorie, Kyustendil Summer Festival, Beglika Festival and series of performances in Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Slovakia and Macedonia.

Lora has developed visual environments for the music of various famous Bulgarian jazz musicians including Theodosii Spassov, projects being part of BigBanda - a union of independent musicians and visual artists, the Bulgarian band Nasekomix, the rock band smallman, the experimental Swiss project Soyuz21, the multi-talented and world famous electronic musician Ivan Shopov (Cooh, Balkansky), multiple idm, techno, drum'n'bass and dub projects and for variety of experimental forms.

Nowadays she is developing interactive installations, space-oriented projects and audio-reactive visual environments.
